  Awful vets absolute disgrace! Unfortunately my 17 year old cat was very ill and had to be put to sleep. I phoned the vets to enquire how much it would cost to put him to sleep I was told about 60 to 70 pounds with the choice to take him home or have him cremated which sounded reasonable. I booked him in for the next day and it was a very traumatic experience he put up a fight and had to be sedated and watching him die was terrible as he convulsed several times Just before this I was asked to settle up which I did and was absolutely shocked to be told it was 235 pounds! We had chosen individual cremation and that cost 170 pounds on top of putting him to sleep. I was never informed it was this and I was never given the opportunity to change my mind.i just had to pay it. Very deceitful and crafty of them to spring that on me and my family when we was all feeling terrible about letting a very much loved pet go. Horrible vets if I have another pet will never be taking them to this vets.
